I have been honoured to be nominated for Australian of the Year twice — first as a young carer and again in the last 5 years.

I have lived experience as a family carer for three family members with complex needs and extensive employment history within the disability and mental health sectors, spanning roles from frontline work to executive-level management. I am highly committed to assisting people in living their best life, as they choose. As the primary carer for a person with a disability from the age of 18 to today (over 35 years).

My background includes corporate and community services experience, and I was honoured to receive the Young Carer Bursary while in high school. I have a long-standing commitment to helping people achieve their full potential.
